Faheem Hussain, Roberto Iengo, Carmen Nunez, Claudio A. Scrucca

TL;DR
This paper investigates D-brane interactions in orbifold compactifications of type II superstring theory, providing calculations of interaction potentials and their field theory interpretations at large distances.
Contribution
It offers a detailed computation of D-brane interaction potentials in orbifold backgrounds and connects string theory results with field theory descriptions.
Findings
Derived explicit interaction potentials between moving D-branes.
Provided a field theory interpretation of the string theory results.
Analyzed the behavior of D-brane interactions at large distances.
Abstract
We discuss D-brane dynamics in orbifold compactifications of type II superstring theory. We compute the interaction potential between two D-branes moving with constant velocities and give a field theory interpretation of it in the large distance limit.
