G.E.Arutyunov, S.A.Frolov

TL;DR
This paper derives the four tachyon scattering amplitude from the $S^N ext{R}^{24}$ orbifold sigma model, providing a bosonic analog of a supersymmetric vertex for closed string interactions in the large N limit.
Contribution
It introduces a bosonic analog of the supersymmetric vertex for closed string interactions derived from the orbifold sigma model.
Findings
Derived the four tachyon scattering amplitude.
Proposed a bosonic analog of the supersymmetric vertex.
Analyzed the large N limit of the model.
Abstract
Four tachyon scattering amplitude is derived from the orbifold sigma model in the large limit. The closed string interaction is described by a vertex which is a bosonic analog of the supersymmetric one, recently proposed by Dijkgraaf, Verlinde and Verlinde.
