Spin Dependence of D0-brane Interactions
Jeffrey A. Harvey

TL;DR
This paper investigates the spin-dependent interactions between D0-branes, connecting string theory calculations with Matrix Theory predictions to understand fundamental long-range forces.
Contribution
It provides a detailed computation of spin-dependent D0-brane interactions using string amplitudes and confirms their consistency with Matrix Theory constraints.
Findings
Spin-dependent forces match Matrix Theory predictions
String amplitude calculations agree with theoretical constraints
Long-range interactions are characterized by spin effects
Abstract
The long-range, spin-dependent forces between D0-branes are related to long-range fundamental string interactions using duality. These interactions can then be computed by taking the long distance non-relativistic expansion of string four-point amplitudes. The results are in accord with the general constraints of Matrix Theory.
