D-brane Thickness
H. Arfaei, M.M. Sheikh-Jabbari

TL;DR
This paper explores the concept of scale in D-brane theory, analyzing how scattering processes between D-branes can reveal conditions for surpassing the fundamental string length scale.
Contribution
It provides a new perspective on D-brane scale by examining scattering phenomena, offering insights into the effective size of D-branes beyond the string scale.
Findings
Scattering of D4-brane by D0-brane indicates conditions to exceed string scale.
Different viewpoints on D-brane scale are discussed.
The study links scattering behavior to D-brane thickness.
Abstract
The scale in the D-brane theory is discussed from different points of view. It is shown that scattering of a -brane by a -brane gives the condition to penetrate beyond the string scale.
