Seeking an Even-Parity Mass Term for 3-D Gauge Theory
R. Jackiw, S-Y. Pi

TL;DR
This paper explores a novel parity-preserving mass-generating mechanism for 3D gauge theories, offering a non-perturbative approach to mass-gap calculations.
Contribution
It introduces a Chern--Simons-like mass term that maintains parity and is applicable non-perturbatively in 3D gauge theories.
Findings
Proposes a parity-preserving mass mechanism.
Provides non-perturbative mass-gap calculation methods.
Highlights implications for 3D gauge theory dynamics.
Abstract
Mass-gap calculations in three-dimensional gauge theories are discussed. Also we present a Chern--Simons-like mass-generating mechanism which preserves parity and is realized non-perturbatively.
