TL;DR
This paper explores Seiberg duality in three-dimensional $Sp$ gauge theories, revealing a dual description distinct from mirror symmetry, and expanding understanding of dualities in lower-dimensional gauge theories.
Contribution
It demonstrates a Seiberg-like duality in 3D $Sp$ gauge theories, providing a new perspective on dualities beyond four-dimensional cases.
Findings
Identification of a dual theory for certain regimes of 3D $Sp$ gauge theories
Distinction between this duality and mirror symmetry
Extension of Seiberg duality concepts to three dimensions
Abstract
We analyze three dimensional gauge theories with gauge group. We find that in some regime the theory should be described in terms of a dual theory, very much in the spirit of Seiberg duality in four dimensions. This duality does not coincide with mirror symmetry.
