Consistent and covriant anomalies in the overlap formulation of chiral gauge theories
S. Randjbar-Daemi, J. Strathdee

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how the covariant anomaly appears in the overlap formulation of chiral gauge theories and confirms its correctness in reproducing anomalies in flavor currents like $j^5_$ in vector-like theories such as QCD.
Contribution
It shows the emergence of the covariant anomaly in the overlap scheme and proves its accuracy in reproducing flavor current anomalies in vector-like theories.
Findings
Covariant anomaly appears in the overlap scheme.
Overlap scheme correctly reproduces flavor current anomalies.
Validates the overlap approach for chiral gauge theories.
Abstract
In this letter we show how the covariant anomaly emerges in the overlap scheme. We also prove that the overlap scheme correctly reproduces the anomaly in the flavour currents such as in vector like theories like QCD.
