The massive spinning particle revisited
F. Delduc, E. Ivanov, E. Sokatchev

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new formulation of the massive spinning particle using only physical bosonic and fermionic fields, avoiding auxiliary objects and gauge fields, to facilitate future studies of the rigid superparticle.
Contribution
It presents a novel formulation of the massive spinning particle that simplifies the model by eliminating auxiliary and gauge fields, serving as a foundation for superparticle research.
Findings
Formulation uses only physical fields, no auxiliary objects.
Simplifies the model for future superparticle studies.
Provides a basis for analyzing rigid superparticles.
Abstract
We propose a formulation of the massive spinning particle in terms of physical bosonic and fermionic fields only. We make use neither of auxiliary objects of the type of nor of gauge fields. The model is to be used as a suitable starting point for a forthcoming study of the rigid superparticle.
