Cesar Gomez, Rafael Hernandez (Instituto de Matematicas y Fisica, Fundamental, CSIC)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the decompactification limit of M-theory superpotentials in N=1 supersymmetric gauge theories, linking toron configurations to confinement phenomena in the maximal abelian gauge.
Contribution
It provides a novel interpretation of superpotentials as generated by toron configurations and explores their relation to confinement in supersymmetric gauge theories.
Findings
Superpotentials can be understood via toron configurations.
Connection established between superpotentials and confinement in the maximal abelian gauge.
Insights into the decompactification limit of M-theory in supersymmetric contexts.
Abstract
We study the decompactification limit of M-theory superpotentials for N=1 four dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories. These superpotentials can be interpreted as generated by toron configurations. The connection with the confinement picture in the maximal abelian gauge is discussed.
