Vortex solutions of parity and time reversal invariant Maxwell-Dirac-Chern-Simons gauge theory
Junsoo Shin

TL;DR
This paper develops a parity and time reversal invariant Maxwell-Chern-Simons gauge theory with fermions, introducing parity partners to matter and gauge fields, leading to the discovery of non-topological vortex solutions influenced by the Chern-Simons coupling sign.
Contribution
It constructs a novel invariant gauge theory with parity partners, enabling the existence of non-topological vortex solutions, expanding understanding of gauge theories with Chern-Simons terms.
Findings
Identifies conditions for non-topological vortex solutions.
Demonstrates dependence of vortex solutions on Chern-Simons coupling sign.
Extends gauge theory models with parity and time reversal symmetry.
Abstract
We construct parity and time reversal invariant Maxwell-Chern-Simons gauge theory coupled to fermions with adding the parity partner to the matter and the gauge fields, which can give nontopological vortex solutions depending on the sign of the Chern-Simons coupling constant.
