Coordinate-Free Quantization of Second-Class Constraints
John R. Klauder, Sergei V. Shabanov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a coordinate-free method for quantizing systems with second-class constraints by extending path integral quantization through a flat-space Brownian motion regularization.
Contribution
It presents a novel coordinate-free approach to quantize second-class constrained systems using a Brownian motion regularization within the path integral framework.
Findings
Successfully extends path integral quantization to second-class constraints.
Provides a coordinate-free formulation that simplifies the quantization process.
Demonstrates the effectiveness of Brownian motion regularization in this context.
Abstract
The conversion of second-class constraints into first-class constraints is used to extend the coordinate-free path integral quantization, achieved by a flat-space Brownian motion regularization of the coherent-state path integral measure, to systems with second-class constraints.
