Boundary states for moving D-branes
Marco Billo, Daniel Cangemi, Paolo Di Vecchia

TL;DR
This paper constructs boundary states for moving D-branes in superstring theory, showing how they change under boosts and using them to compute interactions, confirming previous results through an alternative approach.
Contribution
It provides explicit boundary states for moving D-branes in both NS-NS and R-R sectors and demonstrates their use in calculating brane interactions under velocity boosts.
Findings
Boundary states for moving D-branes are explicitly derived.
Boost transformations of boundary states are characterized.
Interaction calculations match previous results by Bachas.
Abstract
We determine the boundary state for both the NS-NS and R-R sectors of superstring theory. We show how they are modified under a boost. The boosted boundary state is then used for computing the interaction of two D-branes moving with constant velocity reproducing with a completely different method a recent calculation by Bachas.
