TL;DR
This paper investigates the spectrum of massless Nf ≤ 4 SU(2) Seiberg-Witten theory using a 3-brane probe in F-theory, confirming previous conjectures and establishing selection rules for allowed states.
Contribution
It introduces a new approach employing F-theory and 3-brane probes to determine spectrum selection rules in supersymmetric field theories.
Findings
Spectrum consistent with previous conjectures
Derived selection rules for allowed states
Confirmed spectrum for Nf ≤ 4 SU(2) theories
Abstract
Employing Sen's picture of BPS states on a 3-brane probe world volume field theory in a F-theory background. we determine some selection rules for the allowed spectrum in massless SU(2) Seiberg-Witten theory. The spectrum for any is consistent with previous conjectures and analysis.
