Poincare Invariance of a Quantized Duality Symmetric Theory
H. O. Girotti

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a noncovariant duality symmetric action, when quantized using Dirac brackets, remains relativistically invariant at the quantum level.
Contribution
It shows that the Schwarz-Sen duality symmetric action, despite its noncovariant form, preserves relativistic invariance after quantization.
Findings
Quantum theory is relativistically invariant.
Dirac bracket quantization preserves invariance.
Noncovariant actions can be consistent with relativity.
Abstract
The noncovariant duality symmetric action put forward by Schwarz-Sen is quantized by means of the Dirac bracket quantization procedure. The resulting quantum theory is shown to be, nevertheless, relativistically invariant.
