D-brane Interactions, World-sheet Parity and Anti-Symmetric Tensor
H. Arfaei, M.M. Sheikh-Jabbari

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how world-sheet parity relates mixed D-string components to the anti-symmetric B-field, leading to the suppression or elimination of interactions between certain D-branes.
Contribution
It reveals a duality between mixed D-string components and the B-field, explaining interaction modifications via world-sheet parity.
Findings
Mixed D and N components are dual to the B-field.
The B-field reduces or removes interactions between dissimilar D-branes.
World-sheet parity underpins the duality and interaction effects.
Abstract
Using world-sheet parity we show that mixed D and N components of D-strings are dual to the anti-symmetric field. The contribution of the latter is responsible for the reduction and even removal of all the interactions between two dissimilar D-branes.
