Point-Like Structure in Strings and Non-Commutative Geometry
Farhad Ardalan, Amir H. Fatollahi

TL;DR
This paper explores how the dynamics of a free point particle can reduce to string theory and discusses the emergence of higher-dimensional objects in a non-commutative geometric framework.
Contribution
It introduces a model linking point particle dynamics to string theory and proposes the appearance of higher-dimensional objects within this context.
Findings
Point particle dynamics reduce to bosonic string theory under certain limits.
Higher-dimensional objects emerge from the configuration space of the theory.
The framework connects non-commutative geometry with string and brane theories.
Abstract
Dynamics of a free point particle on a multi world-line is presented and shown to reduce to that of a bosonic string theory at the appropriate limit. Other higher dimensional extended objects are argued to appear at other regions of the space of configurations of the theory.
