A. Opfermann, G. Papadopoulos

TL;DR
This paper investigates soliton solutions in massive (1,1)-supersymmetric sigma models with target spaces SO(2) and SU(2), analyzing their properties and extending findings to models with semisimple Lie group targets.
Contribution
It identifies and characterizes solitons in specific supersymmetric sigma models and demonstrates how some solutions can be derived from simpler models with SO(2) and SU(2).
Findings
Computed charge, mass, and moduli space metric of solitons.
Extended soliton solutions to models with semisimple Lie group targets.
Showed embedding of simpler solitons into more complex models.
Abstract
We find the solitons of massive (1,1)-supersymmetric sigma models with target space the groups and for a class of scalar potentials and compute their charge, mass and moduli space metric. We also investigate the massive sigma models with target space any semisimple Lie group and show that some of their solitons can be obtained from embedding the and solitons.
