Spontaneous Breaking of Extended Supersymmetry in Global and Local Theories
M. Porrati

TL;DR
This paper reviews the constraints on breaking extended N=2 supersymmetry to N=1 in both global and local theories, and presents models that circumvent these restrictions.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of no-go theorems and introduces models that successfully evade these constraints.
Findings
Identifies key no-go theorems limiting supersymmetry breaking.
Demonstrates models that bypass these theorems.
Clarifies conditions under which supersymmetry breaking is possible.
Abstract
We review the "no-go" theorems that severely constrain the breaking of N=2 supersymmetry to N=1 (both in rigid supersymmetry and supergravity), and we exhibit some models that evade them.
