Dual Descriptions of Supersymmetry Breaking
Kenneth Intriligator, Scott Thomas

TL;DR
This paper explores how different models of dynamical supersymmetry breaking are interconnected through dualities and confinement, providing dual descriptions of the same supersymmetry-breaking ground states.
Contribution
It demonstrates that various supersymmetry-breaking theories are related via duality and confinement, offering dual descriptions of the same ground states.
Findings
Different models are interconnected by duality and confinement.
Examples of dual descriptions of supersymmetry-breaking states.
Unified understanding of seemingly distinct supersymmetry-breaking theories.
Abstract
Dynamical supersymmetry breaking is considered in models which admit descriptions in terms of electric, confined, or magnetic degrees of freedom in various limits. In this way, a variety of seemingly different theories which break supersymmetry are actually inter-related by confinement or duality. Specific examples are given in which there are two dual descriptions of the supersymmetry breaking ground state.
