On the Equation rotA = K A
J. Vaz Jr., W.A. Rodrigues Jr

TL;DR
This paper clarifies the correct formulation of the equation abla imes a = b1 ba, demonstrating that it can accurately model physical fields without inconsistencies when properly formulated.
Contribution
It provides a corrected formulation of the equation, resolving previous inconsistencies and establishing its validity for representing physical fields.
Findings
The equation can represent physical fields when correctly formulated.
Previous inconsistencies are resolved in the new formulation.
The solutions are consistent with physical phenomena.
Abstract
We show that when correctly formulated the equation \nabla \times \mbox{\boldmath a} = \kappa \mbox{\boldmath a} does not exhibit some inconsistencies atributed to it, so that its solutions can represent physical fields.
