Vladimir Dzhunushaliev, Alexej Fomin

TL;DR
This paper presents tube solutions in SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory with negative Higgs energy density, forming a discrete spectrum of finite energy density configurations resembling straight strings.
Contribution
It introduces a new class of tube solutions with negative Higgs energy density and finite linear energy density in SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory.
Findings
Solutions form a discrete spectrum labeled by two integers
Solutions have finite linear energy density
Configurations resemble straight strings at rest, ignoring transverse size
Abstract
The tube solutions in Yang - Mills - Higgs theory are received, in which the Higgs field has the negative energy density. This solutions make up the discrete spectrum numered by two integer and have the finite linear energy density. Ignoring its transverse size, such field configuration is the rest infinity straight string.
