Ulf H. Danielsson, P\"ar Stjernberg (Uppsala University)

TL;DR
This paper explores how different effective field theories in N=2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory relate through Higgs breaking, providing explicit flat directions for various cases.
Contribution
It offers a detailed analysis of equivalences between effective theories via Higgs mechanisms and supplies explicit expressions for flat directions in numerous examples.
Findings
Explicit flat directions for a wide class of models.
Clarification of how Higgs breaking relates different effective theories.
Enhanced understanding of the structure of N=2 SUSY Yang-Mills moduli space.
Abstract
In this paper we investigate how various equivalences between effective field theories of SUSY Yang-Mills theory with matter can be understood through Higgs breaking, i.e. by giving expectation values to squarks. We give explicit expressions for the flat directions for a wide class of examples.
