N. Sh. Izmailian

TL;DR
This paper explores a spin-3/2 Ising model on a square lattice, demonstrating its reducibility to an eight-vertex model and its exact solvability as a free fermion model along specific parameter lines.
Contribution
It introduces a new analysis of the spin-3/2 Ising model, showing its reduction to an eight-vertex model and identifying conditions for exact solvability.
Findings
Model reducible to eight-vertex model
Exact solvability along two parameter lines
Connections to free fermion models
Abstract
The spin - 3/2 Ising model on a square lattice is investigated. It is shown that this model is reducible to an eight - vertex model on a surface in the parameter space spanned by coupling constants J, K, L and M. It is shown that this model is equivalent to an exactly solvable free fermion model along two lines in the parameter space.
