M.Z.Iofa (Nuclear Physics Institute, Moscow State University)

TL;DR
This paper computes one-loop string corrections to black-string solutions derived from a specific WZW model, analyzing how these quantum effects modify the classical backgrounds and affect the ADM mass.
Contribution
It introduces a method to calculate one-string-loop corrections to black-string backgrounds from gauged WZW models using beta-function equations.
Findings
Loop-corrected backgrounds are obtained from string-loop-corrected effective action.
The ADM mass of the black string is calculated with quantum corrections.
Results provide insights into quantum effects on black-string geometries.
Abstract
One-string-loop (torus topology) corrections to black-string backgrounds corresponding to gauged WZW model are calculated using -function equations derived from string-loop-corrected effective action. Loop-corrected backgrounds are used to calculate ADM mass of the black string.
