Supersymmetry and gauge symmetry breaking with naturally vanishing vacuum energy
Fabio Zwirner (CERN-TH, INFN,Padua)

TL;DR
This paper reviews N=1 supergravity models that achieve simultaneous Higgs and super-Higgs effects with zero classical vacuum energy, relevant for realistic string theory models.
Contribution
It introduces a framework for supergravity models with gauge symmetry breaking and vanishing vacuum energy, aligning with effective string theory descriptions.
Findings
Models exhibit naturally vanishing vacuum energy.
Goldstino components align with gauge-non-singlet directions.
Framework applicable to realistic string models.
Abstract
We review the construction of supergravity models where the Higgs and super-Higgs effects are simultaneously realized, with naturally vanishing classical vacuum energy and goldstino components along gauge-non-singlet directions: this situation is likely to occur in the effective theories of realistic string models.
