Chaos Suppression in the SU(2) Yang--Mills--Higgs System
Luca Salasnich (Univ. Padova & Univ. Complutense Madrid)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the transition from chaos to order in the SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs system using a quantum-inspired resonance overlap criterion, providing analytical estimates for chaos suppression conditions.
Contribution
It introduces an analytical method based on a quantum analog of Chirikov's criterion to estimate parameters for chaos suppression in the Yang-Mills-Higgs system.
Findings
Derived parameter ranges for chaos suppression
Established a link between quantum resonance overlap and classical chaos
Provided analytical estimates for chaos control
Abstract
We study the classical chaos--order transition in the spatially homogenous SU(2) Yang--Mills--Higgs system by using a quantal analog of Chirikov's resonance overlap criterion. We obtain an analytical estimation of the range of parameters for which there is chaos suppression.
