Goldstone Bosons in the Gaussian Approximation

Abstract
The O(N) symmetric scalar quantum field theory with \lambda\Phi^4 interaction is discussed in the Gaussian approximation. It is shown that the Goldstone theorem is fulfilled for arbitrary N.
