L. Girardello, A. Giveon, M. Porrati, A. Zaffaroni

TL;DR
This paper presents evidence supporting the S-duality conjecture in N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories, demonstrating the invariance under SL(2,Z) transformations for various gauge groups.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive evidence for SL(2,Z) S-duality in N=4 Yang-Mills theories with general compact, simple gauge groups.
Findings
Evidence supports SL(2,Z) invariance in N=4 theories.
Results apply to a broad class of gauge groups.
Contributes to understanding of duality symmetries in supersymmetric gauge theories.
Abstract
Evidence in favor of S-duality in supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories in four dimensions and with general compact, simple gauge groups is presented.
