Chiral Duals of Non-Chiral SUSY Gauge Theories
P. Pouliot (Rutgers University)

TL;DR
This paper explores dual descriptions of certain 4D N=1 SUSY gauge theories with Spin(7) gauge group, revealing new dualities and connections to theories with G2 gauge group, expanding understanding of supersymmetric dualities.
Contribution
It introduces novel dual descriptions of Spin(7) gauge theories with flavors, including a dual involving an SU(N_f-4) gauge group and a G2-based theory, enriching the landscape of SUSY dualities.
Findings
Identifies a duality between Spin(7) and SU(N_f-4) gauge theories with specific matter content.
Derives a dual description involving the G2 gauge group through deformation along a flat direction.
Expands the understanding of non-chiral SUSY gauge theories and their dualities.
Abstract
We study SUSY gauge theories in four dimensions with gauge group and flavors of quarks in the spinorial representation. We find that in the range , this theory has a long distance description in terms of an gauge theory with a symmetric tensor and antifundamentals. As a spin-off, we obtain by deforming along a flat direction a dual description of the theories based on the exceptional gauge group with fundamental flavors of quarks.
