Instantons and Monopoles in Maximal Abelian Projection of SU(2) Gluodynamics
M.N. Chernodub, F.V. Gubarev

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that instantons in SU(2) gluodynamics induce abelian monopoles within the Maximal Abelian Projection, suggesting a potential role in the confinement mechanism.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of how instantons generate abelian monopoles in the Maximal Abelian Projection of SU(2) gluodynamics, highlighting their possible relevance to confinement.
Findings
Instantons induce abelian monopoles in the Maximal Abelian Projection.
Monopoles are generated by configurations of instantons, including aligned sets.
Induced monopoles may contribute to the confinement mechanism.
Abstract
We show that the instantons induce the abelian monopoles in the Maximal Abelian Projection of gluodynamics. As an example we consider the case of one instanton and the case of a set of instantons arranged along a straight line. The abelian monopoles which are induced by instantons may play some role in the confinement scenario.
