ON THE EQUIVALENCE AMONG SOME CHIRAL-BOSON THEORIES
R. Amorim, J. Barcelos-Neto

TL;DR
This paper compares different formulations of chiral-boson theories, showing their spectral equivalence, especially with an improved linear constraint implementation, contributing to a better understanding of their theoretical relationships.
Contribution
It demonstrates the spectral equivalence between the Florenani-Jackiw and linear constraint formulations of chiral-boson theories, including an improved implementation of the linear constraint.
Findings
Both formulations have the same spectrum.
Improved linear constraint implementation aligns with FJ formulation.
Enhances understanding of theoretical equivalences in chiral-boson models.
Abstract
We make a comparative study of chiral-boson theories in the Florenani-Jackiw (FJ) and linear constraint formulations. A special attention is given to the case with an improved way of implementing the linear constraint. We show that it has the same spectrum of the FJ formulation.
