J.-P. Derendinger

TL;DR
This paper discusses how string symmetries and anomaly cancellation mechanisms are used to incorporate string loop corrections into the low-energy effective supergravity theories derived from superstrings.
Contribution
It introduces methods for including string loop corrections using symmetry and anomaly cancellation in effective supergravity models.
Findings
String symmetries help control loop corrections.
Anomaly cancellation mechanisms ensure consistency of the theory.
Application to low-energy supergravity models.
Abstract
