Some Properties of Charge-Conjugated Spinors in $D$ dimensions
M. A. De Andrade

TL;DR
This paper examines the properties of charge-conjugated spinors in arbitrary D-dimensional Minkowski spaces, focusing on their kinetic and mass terms relative to the number of time-like dimensions.
Contribution
It provides a reassessment of spinor properties in D-dimensional Minkowski space and discusses conditions for formulating kinetic and mass terms for charge-conjugated spinors.
Findings
Charge-conjugated spinors' properties depend on space-time signature.
Conditions for kinetic and mass terms are linked to the number of time-like directions.
Framework applicable to various D-dimensional theories.
Abstract
Spinors for an arbitrary Minkowski space with signature (, ) are reassessed in connection with -dimensional free Dirac action. The possibility of writing down kinetic and mass terms for charge-conjugated spinors is discussed in terms of the number of time-like directions of the space-time.
