M.Yu.Kalmykov, P.I.Pronin, K.V.Stepanyantz

TL;DR
This paper explores how projective invariance affects the renormalization of affine-metric gravity coupled with a scalar field, providing explicit one-loop counterterms in the most general interaction scenario.
Contribution
It introduces the calculation of one-loop counterterms in affine-metric gravity with scalar fields considering projective invariance, a novel aspect in this context.
Findings
Projective invariance influences the structure of counterterms.
Explicit one-loop counterterms are derived for the general interaction case.
The results inform the renormalization behavior of affine-metric gravity theories.
Abstract
We investigate the influence of the projective invariance on the renormalization properties of the theory. One-loop counterterms are calculated in the most general case of interaction of gravity with scalar field.
