A Hierarchy of Super $w$\ Strings
Hiroshi Kunitomo, Makoto Sakaguchi, Akira Tokura

TL;DR
This paper establishes a hierarchical relationship among super $w$ string theories, showing how lower-level theories can be derived as special vacua of higher-level theories, unifying different superstring hierarchies.
Contribution
It introduces a unified hierarchy of super $w$ string theories, connecting various existing hierarchies through the concept of special vacua.
Findings
Super $w$ string theories form a hierarchy with interconnected vacua.
Lower-level super $w$ strings can be obtained from higher-level theories.
The hierarchy includes known superstring and $w$ string subhierarchies.
Abstract
It is shown that the N-extended super \ string can be obtained as a special class of vacua of both the N-extended super \ string and the (N+1)-extended super \ string. This hierarchy of super \ string theories includes as subhierarchies both the superstring hierarchy given by Bastianelli, Ohta and Petersen and the \ string hierarchy given by the authors.
