TL;DR
This paper explores the effects of gravitational dressing on the renormalization group flows in conformal field theories, particularly focusing on the potential to cross the c=25 barrier in certain models.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective on RG flows influenced by gravitational effects and examines the possibility of surpassing the c=25 barrier in specific models.
Findings
RG flows can be defined with respect to the dilatation operator from the $SL(2,R)$ affine algebra
Potential to pass below the $c=25$ barrier along RG flows in some models
Implications for the structure of conformal field theories with gravitational dressing
Abstract
We discuss some implications of the gravitational dressing of the renormalization group for conformal field theories perturbed by relevant operators. The renormalization group flows are defined with respect to the dilatation operator associated with the mode of the affine algebra. We discuss the possibility of passing under the barrier along renormalization group flows in some models.
