Event Symmetric Open String Field Theory
P. E. Gibbs

TL;DR
This paper develops a field theory on event symmetric space-time based on open string gauge groups, aiming to create a non-perturbative foundational framework for superstring theory.
Contribution
It introduces a novel event symmetric field theory for open strings, extending matrix models towards a potential non-perturbative superstring pre-theory.
Findings
Models with invariant actions generalize matrix models
Provides a new approach to non-perturbative superstring theory
Establishes a framework for event symmetric space-time
Abstract
Field Theory on Event Symmetric space-time is constructed using the gauge group of discrete open strings. Models with invariant actions can be viewed as natural extensions of Matrix Models. The objective is to find a fundamental non-perturbative pre-theory for superstrings.
