The Scattering of Strings in a Black-Hole Background
Ulf H. Danielsson

TL;DR
This paper investigates tachyon correlation functions in a two-dimensional black-hole background, demonstrating consistency with predictions from a deformed matrix model, thus linking string scattering and matrix models.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of string scattering in a black-hole background and confirms the deformed matrix model's predictions.
Findings
Correlation functions match matrix model predictions
Supports the use of matrix models for black-hole string dynamics
Enhances understanding of string behavior in curved spacetime
Abstract
In this paper, correlation functions of tachyons in the two-dimensional black-hole are studied. The results are shown to be consistent with the prediction of the deformed matrix model.
