BFV Quantization of Relativistic Spinning Particles with a Single Bosonic Constraint
Silvio J. Rabello, Arvind N. Vaidya

TL;DR
This paper applies the BFV quantization method to a pseudoclassical model of a spin-1/2 relativistic particle with a single bosonic constraint, simplifying the constraint structure compared to traditional models.
Contribution
It introduces a novel BFV quantization approach for a relativistic spinning particle model with a single bosonic constraint, differing from standard supersymmetric models.
Findings
Successfully quantized the model using BFV approach
Simplified the constraint structure compared to supersymmetric models
Provided a consistent quantum description of the spinning particle
Abstract
Using the BFV approach we quantize a pseudoclassical model of the spin one half relativistic particle that contains a single bosonic constraint, contrary to the usual locally supersymmetric models that display first and second class constraints.
