TL;DR
This paper derives the asymptotic behavior of the level density of states for parabosonic strings using partition theory, highlighting similarities with membranes.
Contribution
It provides the first complete asymptotic analysis of parabosonic string level density using number theory techniques.
Findings
Asymptotic formula for large n level density
Connection between parabosonic strings and membranes
Application of partition theory in string analysis
Abstract
Making use of some results concerning the theory of partitions, relevant in number theory, the complete asymptotic behavior, for large , of the level density of states for a parabosonic string is derived. It is also pointed out the similarity between parabosonic strings and membranes.
