A Hierarchy of Superstrings
Fiorenzo Bastianelli, Nobuyoshi Ohta, Jens Lyng Petersen

TL;DR
This paper develops a hierarchy of supersymmetric string theories, demonstrating that N-extended superstrings can be viewed as a subset of (N+1)-extended superstrings, and uncovers a related superconformal algebra.
Contribution
It introduces a hierarchical framework linking different levels of superstring theories and reveals a twisted superconformal algebra within this structure.
Findings
N-extended superstrings are special cases of (N+1)-extended superstrings
Discovery of a twisted (N+2) superconformal algebra in N-extended strings
Establishment of a hierarchical relationship among superstring theories
Abstract
We construct a hierarchy of supersymmetric string theories by showing that the general N-extended superstrings may be viewed as a special class of the (N+1)-extended superstrings. As a side result, we find a twisted (N+2) superconformal algebra realized in the N-extended string.
