TL;DR
This paper explores the properties and duality symmetries of Lorentzian and Euclidean black hole solutions in two-dimensional string-inspired dilaton-gravity models, highlighting their interconnected nature.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized 2D dilaton-gravity framework with a modulus field from heterotic string compactification and analyzes the duality symmetries of black hole solutions.
Findings
Identification of duality relations between Lorentzian and Euclidean black holes
Characterization of black hole properties within the generalized model
Insights into string theory compactification effects on black hole solutions
Abstract
We discuss the properties of lorentzian and euclidean black hole solutions of a generalized 2-dim dilaton-gravity action containing a modulus field, which arises from the compactification of heterotic string models. The duality symmetries of these solutions are also investigated.
