The Superscattering Matrix for Two Dimensional Black Holes
S.W. Hawking

TL;DR
This paper presents a semi-classical calculation of the superscattering operator in a 2D black hole model, showing conditions under which quantum coherence is preserved or lost based on energy flux.
Contribution
It provides the first consistent Euclidean semi-classical analysis of the superscattering operator in the RST model, highlighting CPT invariance and coherence loss thresholds.
Findings
Superscattering operator is CPT invariant.
Quantum coherence is preserved below a critical energy flux.
Complete coherence loss occurs at the critical flux.
Abstract
A consistent Euclidean semi classical calculation is given for the superscattering operator \ $ $ operator is CPT invariant. There is no loss of quantum coherence when the energy flux is less than a critical rate and complete loss when the energy flux is critical.
