TL;DR
This paper analyzes the symmetries of multi-anyon wavefunctions using second quantization, constructs analogues of Slater determinants, and demonstrates that the Pauli principle does not apply to anyons.
Contribution
It introduces a second quantized framework for multi-anyon wavefunctions and constructs their analogues of Slater determinants, revealing the non-enforcement of the Pauli principle.
Findings
Symmetries of multi-anyon wavefunctions are characterized.
Analogues of Slater determinants for anyons are constructed.
The Pauli principle is shown not to be enforced for anyons.
Abstract
Symmetries of multi-anyon wavefunctions are analysed with the help of a second quantized formulation. Analogues of Slater determinants are constructed. It is shown that the Pauli principle is not enforced.
