2D Quantum Gravity Coupled to Renormalizable Matter Fields
Jan Ambjorn, Kazuo Ghoroku

TL;DR
This paper investigates two-dimensional quantum gravity coupled with renormalizable matter fields that lack conformal invariance, analyzing the beta function, effective action, and renormalization group equations for different matter potentials.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the effective action and renormalization group equations for non-conformal matter coupled to 2D quantum gravity.
Findings
Derived the effective action for various matter potentials.
Determined the dressed renormalization group equations.
Analyzed the beta function in the context of non-conformal matter.
Abstract
We consider two-dimensional quantum gravity coupled to matter fields which are renormalizable, but not conformal invariant. Questions concerning the function and the effective action are addressed, and the effective action and the dressed renormalization group equations are determined for various matter potentials.
