Effective action for high energy scattering in QCD
R. Kirschner

TL;DR
This paper develops an effective action framework for high energy QCD scattering, focusing on multi-Regge asymptotics to improve understanding of unitarity corrections to the perturbative pomeron.
Contribution
It derives an effective action from QCD by integrating out specific field modes, providing a basis for calculating unitarity corrections in high energy scattering.
Findings
Provides a derivation of the effective action for multi-Regge asymptotics
Lays groundwork for unitarity correction calculations in perturbative QCD
Focuses on the case without fermions
Abstract
The effective action for the multi-Regge asymptotics is considered as a first step in calculating the unitarity correction to the perturbative pomeron. It can be derived from the original QCD action by intgrating out certain modes of the fields in the functional integral. The derivation is described for the case without fermions.
