TL;DR
This paper derives a formula for a Wilson loop on a sphere in QCD$_2$ for arbitrary saddle-point distributions and explores its behavior in the strong-coupling phase.
Contribution
It provides a general formula for Wilson loops on a sphere in QCD$_2$ applicable to any saddle-point density and analyzes the strong-coupling phase solution.
Findings
Derived a universal formula for Wilson loops on a sphere in QCD$_2$
Analyzed the strong-coupling phase behavior of the Wilson loop
Applicable to arbitrary saddle-point distributions in the theory
Abstract
We give the formula for a simple Wilson loop on a sphere which is valid for an arbitrary QCD saddle-point : \mbox{}. The strong-coupling-phase solution is investigated.
