The Improved Bounce Solution of SU(2)-Higgs Model
Yuji Kobayashi

TL;DR
This paper advances the theoretical understanding of the SU(2)-Higgs model by developing a new formalism that enables the construction of bounce solutions across all Higgs self-coupling ranges, including oscillating solutions around the sphaleron.
Contribution
It introduces a new ansatz and extends the reduced action formalism to cover the entire range of Higgs self-coupling constants, allowing for more comprehensive bounce solution analysis.
Findings
Constructed a bounce solution oscillating around the sphaleron.
Extended the formalism to all Higgs self-coupling ranges.
Enabled analysis of sphaleron-related phenomena across parameter space.
Abstract
We further develop the reduced action formalism of the SU(2)-Higgs model originally given by Aoyama et.al.. Our new ansatz for the sphaleron solution makes it possible to apply this formalism to all range of the Higgs self coupling constant. Based on the formalism, we construct a bounce solution oscillating around the sphaleron.
