C. Pinheiro, G. O. Pires, F. A. B. Rabelo de Carvalho

TL;DR
This paper calculates the one-loop photon self-energy correction in a 3D gravity context with Maxwell-Chern-Simons fields, confirming transversality and the absence of dynamical mass generation.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed 1-loop analysis of photon self-energy in 3D gravity coupled to Maxwell-Chern-Simons fields, including explicit Feynman rules and verification of gauge invariance.
Findings
Transversality of the photon self-energy is confirmed.
No dynamical mass generation occurs for the gauge field.
Explicit 1-loop corrections are computed and verified.
Abstract
A Maxwell-Chern-Simons field is minimally coupled to 3D-gravity. Feynman rules are written down and 1-loop corrections to the gauge-field self-energy are calculated. Transversality is verified and gauge-field dynamical mass generation does not take place.
