TL;DR
This paper explores finite quantum field theories in four dimensions, presenting a non-supersymmetric model with vanishing beta functions at one and two loops, indicating potential finiteness without supersymmetry.
Contribution
It introduces a non-supersymmetric model with specific particle content that achieves vanishing beta functions at one and two loops, advancing the understanding of finiteness in quantum field theories.
Findings
Model with non-supersymmetric particle content
Vanishing one- and two-loop gauge beta functions
Vanishing one-loop Yukawa beta functions
Abstract
Some aspects of finite quantum field theories in 3+1 dimensions are discussed. A model with non--supersymmetric particle content and vanishing one-- and two--loop beta functions for the gauge coupling and one--loop beta functions for Yukawa--couplings is presented.
